ASSOCIATE

 

Chandrani Mandal is an Associate at Cholakian & Associates.  Ms. Mandal has been licensed to practice law in California since 2018 and with the US District Court, Northern District of California since August 2018.

Prior to joining Cholakian and Associates, Ms. Mandal was employed as an Associate and Senior Counsel with two large national firms and as Staff Counsel with a major insurance carrier.

Ms. Mandal handles a variety of cases including those involving personal injuries, wrongful death, premises liability, and commercial litigation. She has defended her clients from large claims including those involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, auto accidents, and construction defects. She has many years of experience resolving disputes through negotiation, arbitration, and litigation with a “hands-on” approach in addressing client concerns. She works with corporate clients and insurance companies from inception through trial.

Ms. Mandal specializes in providing compassionate problem-solving to her clients. She prides herself on her ability to calmly assess challenging situations while also helping her clients navigate the complicated emotions that may occur in a lawsuit.  Ms. Mandal uses a proactive legal approach to efficiently resolve claims while focalizing client needs.

Ms. Mandal earned her J.D. from John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, California.  She attended University of California in Davis, California where she earned her B.A. degrees in Political Science and Psychology.

During her free time, Chandrani is an avid traveler and loves to find new (and old favorites!) restaurants with her friends and family.  She is also an avid sports fan (Go Warriors and 49ers!).
