FAYE M. STEPHENSON
Faye Stephenson is a highly experienced hybrid legal secretary/paralegal who has worked at both large and small firms. She has extensive litigation experience and has prepared multiple cases for trial.
Ms. Stephenson began her legal career working for a small plaintiff’s personal injury attorney in Burlingame for over fifteen years. She also worked for nearly 20 years for Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, a large multidisciplinary, integrated national professional services firm as a Senior Paralegal in their Litigation Department, before coming to Cholakian & Associates.
Ms. Stephenson has worked in the legal profession for over 35 years, and she is well versed in all aspects of litigation support. Ms. Stephenson has assisted on cases from inception to trial in both state and federal courts.
ROSEMARY A. COMISKY CULIVER
Prior to joining Cholakian & Associates in April 2021, Ms. Comisky Culiver had lengthy tenures with a small law firm in the Presidio as Senior Litigation Paralegal and Calendaring Administrator, with a national employment firm as a Legal Secretary and Workers’ Compensation Paralegal, and another smaller firm as Litigation Paralegal. Early in her career she also worked for an insurance defense firm and with the State of California. Ms. Comisky Culiver has prepared large and small cases for trials, mediations and arbitrations and is well versed in both state and federal courts. She also has experience in large wage and hour class actions.
Ms. Comisky Culiver attended City College of San Francisco with emphasis on Paralegal Studies. She holds a Paralegal certification.
Outside the office, Ms. Comisky Culiver enjoys cooking, photography, and long walks.
ALEXIS CAMERON OWENS
Ms. Owens began her legal career working for GEICO’s Staff Counsel in Portland, Oregon, first starting as a Legal Secretary and soon thereafter getting promoted to Paralegal. She is well versed in both Oregon’s and California’s litigation processes and procedures. Ms. Owens has assisted in the preparation of cases from inception to arbitration and trial in both state and federal courts. She has supported up to 5 attorneys at GEICO’s Staff Counsel and 3 attorneys at Cholakian & Associates in both Legal Secretary and Paralegal capacities at one time, each with a docket of 350 and 104 cases, respectively.
Ms. Owens obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology-Criminology and Psychology from the University of Portland. She also attended the University of Texas and holds a Paralegal certification.
Outside the office, Ms. Owens enjoys reading, traveling, and is a basketball aficionado.
